Passover was observed at the congregation property in Milton.  From the 20th through the 26th of April, The Days of Unleavened Bread were observed  studies  and fellowship meals each day. A number of folks camped on the grounds or stayed in the two houses on the property. Fellowship lasted into the morning hours on occasion. 

 

PASSOVER 2008 

How it started with Abraham:

          Genesis 12:1-8

 

          Genesis 15     the initial covenant

 

          Genesis 17:1-14, 21-27  sign of the covenant

 

          Genesis 21:1-4  Yahweh gives Abraham his son

         

          Genesis 22:1-18  the promises confirmed unconditionally

 

          Genesis 25:5, 11; 26:1-5  Blessings pass to Isaac

 

          Genesis 27  Birthright and blessings passed to Jacob

         

          Genesis 28:12-15  Confirmed by Yahweh to Jacob in a dream

 

          Genesis 39:1-2  Joseph taken to Egypt

 

Genesis 41  Joseph interprets Pharaoh’s dreams, predicts famine, has two sons.

 

          Genesis 42:1-2  Jacob seeks grain in Egypt

 

          Genesis 45:17-28  All of Israel goes to Egypt because of the famine

 

Blessed in the land of Goshen for a time…  then hard bondage.

 

          Exodus 3:7-10  Yahweh chooses Moses to bring Israel out

 

          Yahweh declares Israel is firstborn son – Exodus 4:22

 

So Moses and Aaron begin to meet with Pharaoh in Exodus 5

 

The Plagues:

1.     Blood,  2. Frogs,  3. Gnats,  4. Flies,  5. Livestock pestilence, 6. Boils,  7. Hail,  8. Locusts,  9. Darkness,  10. Death of Firstborn
