- The “Saved” List
- Pro 16:25 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its
end is the way of death1. Footnote: 1See
14:12.
- Heb 11:1 And belief is the substance of what is expected, the proof of what is not seen. Heb 11:2
For by this the elders obtained witness. 3 By belief, we understand that the ages were prepared
by the word of Elohim, so that what is seen was not made of what is visible. 4 By belief,
Heḇel offered to Elohim a greater slaughter offering than Qayin, through which
he obtained witness that he was righteous, Elohim witnessing of his gifts. And through it, having died, he still speaks. 5 By belief, Ḥanoḵ
was translated so as not to see death, “and was not found because Elohim had translated him.” For before his translation
he obtained witness, that he pleased Elohim. 6 But without belief it is impossible to please
Him, for he who comes to Elohim has to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him. 7 By belief, Noaḥ, having been warned of what was yet unseen, having feared, prepared an ark to save
his house, through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to belief. What do these three men have in common?
- Heb 11:13
In belief all these died, not having received the promises,|super 1 but seeing them from
a distance, welcomed and embraced them, and confessed that they were aliens and strangers on the earth. Footnote: 1See v. 39.
- Heb 11:39 And having obtained witness
through the belief, all these did not receive the promise,1 Footnote: 1See v. 13.
- What did they NOT have in common
with the next man mentioned and probably every other man on the “Belief List?”
- Heb 11:8 By belief, Aḇraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the
place which he was about to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By belief, he sojourned in the land
of promise as a stranger, dwelling in tents with Yitsḥaq and Yaʽaqoḇ, the heirs with him of the same promise, 10 for he
was looking for the city having foundations, whose builder and maker is Elohim.
- Abraham was called in uncircumcision.
- Rom 4:7 “Blessed are those whose lawlessnesses are
forgiven, and whose sins are covered, 8 blessed is the man to whom יהוה
shall by no means reckon sin.” 9 Is this blessing then upon the circumcised only,
or also upon the uncircumcised? For we affirm: Belief was reckoned unto Aḇraham for righteousness. 10 How then was it reckoned? Being in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the belief while
in uncircumcision, for him to be a father of all those believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be reckoned
to them also, 12 and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision,
but who also walk in the steps of the belief which our father Aḇraham had in uncircumcision. 13 For the promise that
he should be the heir of the world, was not to Aḇraham or to his seed through the Torah, but through a righteousness of belief.
- Heb 11:14 For those who
speak this way make it clear that they seek a fatherland.
- 1Co 4:6 And these matters, brothers,
I have applied in a figure to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you might learn not to think beyond what is
written, so that none of you be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.
- 2Pe 3:14 So then, beloved ones, looking forward to this, do your
utmost to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless, 15 and reckon the patience of
our Master as deliverance, as also our beloved brother Sha’ul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them concerning these matters, in which some are hard to understand,1 which those who are untaught and unstable twist
to their own destruction, as they do also the other Scriptures. Footnote: 1See 1 Cor.
11:6. 17 You, then, beloved ones, being forewarned, watch, lest you also fall from
your own steadfastness, being led away with the delusion of the lawless (athemos),18
but grow in the favour and knowledge of our Master and Saviour יהושע Messiah. To Him be the esteem both now and to a day that abides. Amĕn.
Mat 19:16 And see, one came and said to
Him, “Good Teacher, what good shall I do to have everlasting life?” 17 And He
said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One – Elohim. But if you wish to enter into life,
guard the commands.”18 He said to Him, “Which?”
And יהושע said, “ ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not
commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19 ‘Respect your father and your mother,’ and ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’
”20 The young man said to Him, “All these I have watched over from my youth,
what do I still lack?” 21 יהושע said to him, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have
and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven. And come, follow Me.”
- Don’t use human reason to seek how little you MUST do to make it not the Kingdom.
The folks on the “saved list” of Hebrews 11 did not seek the minimum. They gave all.

- Know Your Savior: Did He “Pre-Exist?
The one Name under heaven by which
we can be saved: Acts 4:12 is YAHWEH
Act 4:11 “This is ‘the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has
become the chief cornerstone.’ 12 “And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven
given among men by which we need to be saved.”
Pro 30:4 Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has
gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is
His Name, And what is His Son’s Name, If you know it?
The Son was called “His Son” and had a Name when this proverb
was written. What was it?
Was Yahweh just looking ahead?
Gen 1:26 And Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our
image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over
the livestock, and over all the earth and over all the creeping creatures that creep on the earth.”
Gen 2:7 And Yahweh
Elohim formed the man out of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils breath of life. And the man became a living
being.
Even the fundamental statement of “oneness” in Judaism contains the uniplural form of “Elohim:”
Deu
6:4 “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: Yahweh our Elohim, YHWH is one!
Gen 2:22 And the rib which YHWH Elohim had taken from
the man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. 23 And the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh
of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.” 24 For this cause a man shall leave his father
and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (Same Hebrew 'echad {ekh-awd'})
Yahshua confirmed
this understanding of 'echad {ekh-awd'} : Mat 19:5 and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and
cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 “So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore,
what Elohim has joined together, let man not separate.”
And further applies it to His relationship with the Father: Joh
10:30 “I and My Father are one.” Joh 17:11 “And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You.
Set-apart Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me, so that they might be one, as We are.
Two
Yahwehs: Gen 18:1 And YHWH appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamrĕ, while he was sitting in the tent door
in the heat of the day. 2 So he lifted his eyes and looked, and saw three men standing opposite him. And when he saw them,
he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground, 3 and said, YHWH, if I have now found favour
in Your eyes, please do not pass Your servant by.
Gen 19:23 The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Tso'ar.
24 And YHWH rained sulphur and fire on Seddom and Amorah, from YHWH out of the heavens.
Psa 110:1 YHWH said to
my Master, “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” 2 YHWH sends Your mighty sceptre
out of Tsiyon. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! 3 Your people volunteer in the day of Your might, In the splendours of
set-apartness! From the womb, from the morning, You have the dew of Your youth! 4 YHWH has sworn and does not relent, “You
are a priest forever According to the order of Malkitsedeq.” 5 YHWH at Your right hand Shall smite sovereigns in the day
of His wrath. 6 He judges among the nations, He shall fill the nations with dead bodies, He shall crush the Head over the
mighty earth! 7 He drinks of the stream by the wayside, Therefore He does lift up the head!
Psa 16:8 I have set
YHWH always before me; Because He is at my right hand I am not shaken. 9 Therefore my heart was glad, and my esteem rejoices;
My flesh also dwells in safety. 10 For You do not leave my being in the grave, Neither let Your Kind One see corruption. Act
2:21 ‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of Yahweh shall be saved.’ 25 “For Dawiḏ says concerning
Him, ‘I saw YHWH before me continually, because He is at my right hand, in order that I should not be shaken. 26 ‘For
this reason my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad, and now my flesh shall also rest in expectation, 27 because You
shall not leave my being in the grave, nor shall You give Your Kind One to see corruption.
Isa 44:6 “Thus said YHWH,
Sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, and his Redeemer, YHWH of hosts, ‘I am the First and I am the Last, besides Me there is no Elohim. Rev
1:11 saying, “I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the First and the Last,” and, “Write in a book what you see and send it to the
seven assemblies of Asia – to Ephesos, and to Smurna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia,
and to Laodikeia.”
There always seems to be some attack on the credibility of scripture and on our Savior. Satan
does not want you to believe you have a Savior. He wants you to believe all hope is gone, lost forever. He does not want
you to realize the full potential for which you have been brought into this world and for which you have now been called…
to become what he never could become: a full Yahweh-kind son of Yahweh. Know your Savior. Know His Name. Know His attributes.
After all, you are destined to become like Him! 1Jo 3:1 See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called
children of Elohim! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved ones, now we are
children of Elohim. And it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like
Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone having this expectation in Him cleanses himself, as He is clean.
Yahweh
bless you!

Christmas Once again this year, we witnessed the moving up of the holiday festivities for the Christmas season. The last sermon I could find that I had given about Christmas was given in November
of 2002. The facts remain the same, but I thought I should redo and refresh the
message because I barely recognized the guy giving the message. He was a bit
more rotund and had puffy hair and a mustache. I didn’t want to confuse
the people on the DVD list. Is Christmas really bad? Or is it just a nice time
for families and friends to get together? Most of us have gone through the stage
of thinking, “Well, if I just go to my families functions (dinners, parties, social events) maybe they will be more
inclined to come to some of the functions I believe in.” How does that
work with scripture? First of all, telling people anymore that Christmas is “pagan” has very little effect. Most people KNOW that. Some “Christian” preachers
even give sermons about it. Of course, then they make their pitch to “keep
Christ” or “put Christ back into” Christmas. Isa 55:8 “For My
thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares Yahweh. None-the-less, it is important to see the secular statements about the origins of the practices that surround this holiday: Alexander Hyslop, The Two Babylons, pg. 91 Catholic Encyclopedia, Article “Christmas” Encyclopedia Britannica 11th Edition, vol 6 pg. 293 The Golden Bough, Sir James George Frazer,
pg. 416-417 An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Traditional Symbols pg. 35 & 197 Jer 10:1 Hear the word which Yahweh speaks to you, O house of Yisra’ĕl.
2 Thus said Yahweh, “Do not learn the way of the gentiles,1 and do not be awed by the
signs of the heavens, for the gentiles are awed by them.2 Footnotes: 1Lev. 18:3, Dt. 12:30 & 18:9, Ezek. 11:12 & 20:32, Eph. 4:17, 1 Peter 4:3. 2Dt. 4:19 & 17:3. 3 “For the prescribed customs of these
peoples are worthless, for one cuts a tree from the forest, work for the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. 4 “They adorn it with silver and gold, they fasten it with nails and hammers so that it does not topple.
5 “They are like a rounded post, and they do not speak. They have to be carried, because
they do not walk. Do not be afraid of them, for they do no evil, nor is it in them to do any good.” 2Co 6:16 And what union has the Dwelling Place of Elohim with idols? For you are a Dwelling Place of the living Elohim, as Elohim has said, “I
shall dwell in them and walk among them, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.” 17 Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says Yahweh, and do not touch what is unclean, and I shall receive you. Deu 12:29 “When Yahweh your Elohim does cut off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in
their land, 30 guard yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed
from before you, and that you do not inquire about their mighty ones, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their mighty
ones? And let me do so too.’1 Footnote: 1See
also 18:9, Lev. 18:3, Jer.10:2, Ezek. 11:12 & 20:32, Eph. 4:17, and 1 Peter 4:3 31 “Do not do so to Yahweh your Elohim, for every abomination which Yahweh hates they have done to their mighty ones, for they even burn
their sons and daughters in the fire to their mighty ones. 32 “All the words I am commanding you, guard to do it – do not add to it
nor take away from it.1 Footnote: 1See also 4:2, Prov. 30:6, Rev. 22:18-19.
Jdg 10:6 And the children of Yisra’ĕl again
did evil in the eyes of Yahweh, and served the Baʽals and the Ashtoreths, and the mighty ones of Aram, and the mighty
ones of Tsiḏon, and the mighty ones of Mo’aḇ, and the mighty ones of the children of Ammon, and the mighty ones
of the Philistines – and forsook Yahweh and did not serve Him. Jdg 10:7 Therefore the displeasure of Yahweh burned against Yisra’ĕl. And He sold
them into the hands of the Philistines and into the hands of the children of Ammon. 1Sa 7:3 And Shemu’ĕl spoke to all the house of Yisra’ĕl, saying, “If
you return to Yahweh with all your hearts,
then put away the foreign mighty ones and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts for Yahweh, and serve Him only, so that He delivers you from the hand of the Philistines.”
1Sa 7:4 And the children of Yisra’ĕl put away the Baʽals and Ashtaroth, and served Yahweh only. Ecc 12:14 For Elohim shall bring every work into right-ruling, including all that is hidden,
whether good or whether evil.
